Chetham’s School of Music
Our experts were appointed as Project Managers by the world famous, Chetham's School of Music to assist in the development of a new accommodation block and Conference Centre on an adjacent site.
The site was archaeologically challenging. The original site is medieval, which later developed into an old bombsite, this required two phases in the development of the site.
The two phases; cleaning and constructing took twelve months. The complex was initially built as accommodation for the school, but also had to be built to provide a commercial conference centre.
Our team were responsible for developing the brief for all the project requirements from the design process, through to the appointment of consultants. They also managed the construction through to completion. The project was delivered to the client on time and on budget.
