Chatham Place, Reading
The Chatham Place project is the €125 million redevelopment of a run-down 1960’s car park as a key part of Reading’s aim to improve the status of the town. Split into two phases the total project represents the development of in excess of 120,000m2 of residential, offices, hotel, car parking and retail/leisure space.
Phase 1 is a mixed-use city centre redevelopment comprising 3 main buildings, one of 211 private residential apartments, a separate building of 650 multi-storey parking spaces, and a seven storey building of 96 Key Worker apartments with retail and commercial space.
Phase 2 is the development of two residential towers of 9 and 19 storeys providing a total of 184 apartments.
